About Organization
The journey for social development in Pakur district of Jharkhand started by LKSK in the year 2003 to bring sustainable smile on the faces of deprived people. Ever since the days of inception we have been concentrating our efforts on bringing out revolutionary and radical changes in developmental approach of the society. It all began with a group of just few committed people, but as time passed more and more enthusiastic and committed people came and joined us to strive for the envisioned changes.
LKSK endeavors for service to humanity in a multidimensional way, and is moving ahead to bring a visible and sustained change in the society. LKSK family has worked hard keeping in mind our vision, mission and goal to bring changes that are acceptable and sustainable. The various sectional areas of work that LKSK has undertaken till now involves livelihood, Child Right, water and sanitation, women empowerment, financial literacy, disaster management, addressing Issues related to migrants and access to portability entitlement etc.
We work in partnership with community based organizations (CBOs), PRIs, partners, associates, central government and state government who have continually support to bring a positive change in the society and help in strengthening the community by devising sustainable techniques of development. Our journey has been possible because of many people who joined hands and walked with us. “We believe in little step can make a big change”.

Objective
- To educate, organize and promote the new tools and technologies to the farmers of the target area

Popular Programs
- Adolescent Training Program– The training was conducted with 35 adolescent girls in Pakur Jharkhand. The objective of this training was to equip adolescents with essential knowledge and skills to address common issue faced during adolescents.
- MGNREGA Training– The training was organized with 40 participants in Patphari village, Pakur. The objective of MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) training for the community is to empower individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively participate in the implementation of MGNREGA projects. This includes training on various aspects such as project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as building awareness about entitlements, rights, and responsibilities under the program. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance community participation, transparency, and accountability in the execution of MGNREGA initiatives, leading to improved livelihoods and sustainable development in rural areas.
- Empowering the Pradhan on local Democracy- The program was organized in Basetkundi Panchayat Bhaban, Pakur. The primary objective of the training event was to empower Pradhans (village heads) with knowledge and skills necessary for effective governance and promotion of local democracy.
- 44 Days National Campaign, CACL
Major Activities conducted in the last three
- State Level Meetings to strengthen the CSO towards child labour Free India– CACL Jharkhand chapter organized quarterly meeting to strengthen the CSO towards child labour free Jharkhand. A total of 70+ CSO are partners with CACL Jharkhand. The meeting provided a platform to share insights, address challenges, and strategize collaborative actions for implementing child rights initiatives. It reinforced the network’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for children.
- Regional Level Consultations– The CACL Jharkhand Chapter organized a regional consultation in the North Chotanagpur region on the theme “Vartaman Mein Bal Shram Ki Dasha Aur Disha” (The Current State and Direction of Child Labor). The consultation brought together stakeholders, including CSOs, government representatives, and community leaders, to discuss the prevailing conditions of child labor and explore actionable strategies for its eradication. The consultation emphasized the need for collective efforts and innovative solutions to safeguard children’s rights and ensure their holistic development.
- 44 Days National Campaign #Shram Nahi Shiksha- The 44 Days National Campaign, organized by CACL Jharkhand, involved a series of impactful activities to raise awareness and combat child labor across the state. Highlights included the launch of the “Shram Nahi Shiksha” campaign, workshops, and seminars in schools and communities emphasizing the importance of education. Youths actively participated through rallies, drawing competitions, sports events, and skits, while PRI members, SMC, and VDC were engaged in discussions. The social media campaign also covered a series of webinars to amplify its reach, addressing critical topics such as the health impact of child labor and solutions to end it. With the involvement of 40+ CSOs and community-level initiatives, the campaign reached over 100,000+ people, strengthening collective efforts toward a child labor-free Jharkhand.
- Public Manifesto Sharing- The Public Manifesto was shared with political parties and candidates during the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, advocating for policies to eradicate child labor and promote children’s rights.
