Manav Sansadhan Evam Mahila Vikas Sansthan (MSEMVS) is non-governmental organization. It was established in 1990 under guidance of veteran Social Scientist and Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidhyapeeth & former  Member of Parliament Prof. Raja Ram Sashtri

MSEMVS Initiate to empower people and enhance the transformation of society ever striving towards building on inclusive, participatory, harmonious & just society by ensuring that they have equal access not only to the goods and services but also the skills necessary for realizing their full human potential.

Objectives of the organization-

  • To educate the children of Schedule Caste for preventing them from human trafficking and ensuring rights to Education.
  • To provide services for social and economic empowerment that lead justice & economic equality to women & excluded people in the society.

Major Activities conducted in the last three years

 

  • In collaboration with the MSEMVS and CACL, state level consultation on child labor was organized on 17th December 2019 at Sahabhai Shikshan Kendra, Lucknow. In which a total of 27 people participated, including representatives of CACL organizations of Varanasi, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Lakhimpurkhedi, Delhi Azamgarh, Kushinagar and Lucknow, members of Child Welfare Committee and representatives of Labor Department, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Fair Food Campaign- On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a fair food campaign was organized by the children and youth. In which more than 100 sweet shops of Varanasi and Mirzapur districts were contacted and appealed stop child labor in the shop.And a sticker of Fair Food was also displayed at their shops.
  • Oath Campaign in school- On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, children were given a oath to celebrate “child labor free Rakshabandhan” in 5 schools of Mirzapur district. In which the children took an oath that we will buy sweets from where the children are not engaged in making sweets. In which more than 1000 children participated.
  • Children Garm Sabha-On December 23rd , 2020, a children gram sabha was organized in Bagahiya village of Ahraura. In which a total of 46 children (F-17 M-29) from 10 villages were present as well as members of Child Social Security Committee, youths, mining laborers also actively participated. In this gram sabha, the children expressed their problems and the village mainly on the basis of their visits to school and village -Under Mohalla school, the problem of education in the village, toilet in the school, problem of drinking water in the school, crossing the road while going to school, repair and maintenance of the school, the problem of teaching by the school teacher were discussed. In this gram sabha, the children learned about the problems and demanded a solution from the education department official.
  • Workshop with Children on 12 June 2021- A workshop was organized with 23 children who were involved in child labour. In that workshop chairman of child welfare committee, District child protection officer, Labour Enforcement officer along with government official were also present. In the workshop, children shared their views and situation and also shared their demand in front of government official to stop child labour in region.
